State of the art of simplified analytical methods for seismic vulnerability assessment of unreinforced masonry buildings

چکیده
Cities in the developing world are facing outstanding economic and human losses caused by natural hazards such as earthquakes, amount of is affected quality preventive measures emergency management. For this reason, seismic vulnerability assessment considered a crucial part strategy for risk mitigation improving resiliency cities. Due to high number building archetypes at large scale, fast, simplified methods have been proposed that can facilitate procedure with low computational effort. Simplified be categorized into three groups: analytical, empirical, hybrid methods. In study, analytical unreinforced masonry (URM) buildings were reviewed, starting their classification main collapse mechanism-based, capacity spectrum-based, fully displacement-based Finally, attention was given corresponding software packages developed procedure.
